“EMANUEL” KINDERGARTEN UP TO PRESENT
(1998 – 2010)

This is the 9th year when the kindergarten opened its door for children. The main purpose of appointing the kindergarten was from the very beginning an evangelistic one.This is the reason why we attached importance to the children coming from non-Christian families. The participant percentage of children coming from non- Christian families increased every year. At first we were working with 22% of this category (year: 1998); then 33%, 40 % and 50% children (year: 2006). We emphasized teaching a foreign language and also Bible lessons On an average, there were 50 children subscribing every year. The kids are divided in three groups, according to their age and each group has a teacher. During those years of activity, 286 kids came to this kindergarten. The kids are taken to and from the kindergarten by a mini-bus every day. The kindergarten is under the tutelage of the “Cetatea” Baptist Church in Alba. There were 7 parents who decided to follow the Lord; they were baptized and now, they come to Church regularly. There were also families who enjoyed coming to Church. In fact, some of the celebrations of the Kindergarten are held inside the Church, in a special service, so the parents might be able to hear God’s Word. “Emanuel” kindergarten is well known and it made a name for itself in our area. The Christian kindergarten is very much appreciated and rated very highly by the School Inspectorate.

Salary expenses: $ 7200/year
One teacher needs $ 200/month
